The first day of AMPP's 2023 Pipeline Integrity symposium was held on Wednesday at the Colorado Convention Center, with technical papers shared on all aspects of pipeline integrity. Among the topics highlighted at this all-day symposium include pipeline integrity management, inspection, assessment, mitigation, operational aspects, and regulatory issues, along with current and emerging technologies.
The Pipeline Integrity symposium has been offered for the last several years at legacy NACE International, and now Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), conferences. This year’s symposium featured more than 20 papers spanning 1.5 days, withinsights and cutting edge solutions offered to the pipeline industry as a whole.
In addition to the Day 1 proceedings, a Day 2 symposium will be held on Thursday. Both days are chaired by Matthew Ellinger of DNV and vice-chaired by Tod Barker of TDW. Ellinger anticipates that this year’s symposium, like past symposiums, will offer a forum for operators, regulators, and service providers to collaborate and share experiences that will help drive a safer and more sustainable future.
