Nashville is often referred to as Music City, but from April 6-10 it’ll be known as Corrosion Capital, because it’s the site for the 2025 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo!
As is the case each year, this year’s conference will start with the Opening Night Reception, which takes place on Sunday, April 6, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
The Opening Reception draws individuals from across the industry in one festive space, making it one of the most anticipated events on the conference schedule. It provides a space for attendees, speakers, and exhibitors to interact over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Drink tickets will be provided at the registration booth inside the Music City Center.
The reception is co-sponsored by Carboline and the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), with the two organizations bound together by a common vision of corrosion prevention, environmental preservation, and education.
After enjoying the opening of AMPP's flagship conference, stop by the expo throughout the week and visit the Carboline booth (#1701) and the AMPP booth (#1744). We hope to see you there!
Sponsored by BP, awards were given to the top three posters in four categories: Fontana Category of Corrosion Engineering; Pourbaix Category of Corrosion Science; the Herro-Appleman Category of Applied Materials Protection Technology; and the David Shifler Undergraduate Category.
