Winners of the 2025 Student Poster Session were announced during an awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 9, at the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Nashville.
Sponsored by BP, awards were given to the top three posters in four categories: Fontana Category of Corrosion Engineering; Pourbaix Category of Corrosion Science; the Herro-Appleman Category of Applied Materials Protection Technology; and the David Shifler Undergraduate Category.
Judges reviewed a total of 71 posters, with students giving short presentations about their research on Monday and Tuesday. The awards ceremony was live-streamed on Facebook by CORROSION journal, the sponsoring publication, and the first-place winner of each of the three categories will be invited to write an open access poster letter published in CORROSION.
