Held inside the Music City Center, Monday’s presentations at the AMPP Conference + Expo 2025 will feature three key symposia covering subjects such as pipeline integrity, corrosion management, and military coatings and corrosion.
The “Pipeline Integrity Symposium” runs in two parts, from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 104C. This symposium will cover all aspects of pipeline integrity, including management, inspection, assessment, mitigation, regulatory issues,and emerging technologies. It offers a platform for operators, regulators, and service providers to collaborate on improving safety and sustainability inpipeline operations. Notable papers include "Analyses of Four Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion Failures in Crude Oil Facility Piping" and "Hydrofracking and Internal Corrosion Problems Identification and Confirmation in Oil and Gas Production."
The “Corrosion Management Symposium,” also in two parts (8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 103 A&B), will address recent corrosion management practices, lessons learned, and new corrosion management philosophies. Papers include "Digitalization of Corrosion Management Program–Leveraging Industrial Revolution 4.0 Towards Asset Integrity" and "Localized Corrosion Control and Management For Durable Renewable Energy Infrastructure."
Additionally, the “Military Coatings and Corrosion Symposium” (8 a.m. to noon, Room 102 A&B) focuses on developments in corrosion control for the military. Featured presentations include "Aerospace Coating Aging Method Investigation" and "Corrosion Control Mechanisms for Marine Coatings."
