March to the mambo beat on Sunday, March 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at AMPP’s 2024 conference and Opening Night Reception. Co-sponsored by Carboline, this year’s opening takes place at Great Hall A with a theme that’s sure to impress: Mardi Gras Mambo!
Bringing attendees, speakers, and exhibitors together in one festive space, this is one of the most anticipated events at AMPP’s Annual Conference + Expo. For 2024, the night combines bright colors with Mardi Gras-themed décor, which includes a New Orleans-inspired balcony backdrop offering a photo booth for attendees.
This year’s event offers a live DJ, delicious bites, and preparations for fewer lines in the Big Easy.
Carboline will host a dart board at its booth this year so, after welcoming everyone to the opening of the AMPP conference, stop by the expo and visit the company’s booth (#911) for a friendly competition.

AMPP Debuts Industrial Coating Application Training Program AMPP’s new Industrial Coating Application (ICA) training program is an instructor-led, subscription-based, globally offered program built around the NACE No. 13/SSPC-ACS-1 standard. It was formally introduced last fall, and AMPP representatives hosted a presentation to showcase it to the conference audience.
